Besançon
Besançon is a charming, youthful, and walkable modern city, with many accommodations and breathtaking views. We hope you get a chance to explore as we have.The venue for our ceremony and reception location is ~40 minutes outside the city. For the convenience of guests not joining us on-site, we have arranged a shuttle between our venue and Hotel de Paris in downtown Besançon.
From Paris
The high-speed train from Paris travels directly to Besançon. The non-stop train departing from Paris-Gare-de-Lyon station takes between 2.5-3 hours.
From Basel Airport
You can fly directly into Basel international airport and take a two hour train to Besançon. Grab train tickets here.Or, rent a car and take a very pleasant drive through the countryside, which takes roughly an hour and 45 minutes.
For US drivers: you can rent a car with a valid USA driver's license and passport. The French drive on the right side of the road, and they love roundabouts.

Getting to the Venue
We have arranged shuttles to run directly from the HOTEL DE PARIS in Besançon on the day of the ceremony to bring you to and from the venue.It is a 40 minutes drive from Besançon.Taxis and Ubers tend to be very limited in the region, so please keep that in mind.
